Myscape'
and 'Jar series' represent the blurred boundary between the human
body and the environment. Audiences may think that the contents
of jars and landscapes, which I made with images of my skin, are
something inside of our body or some organic images. These works
question the division of the inside and the outside as well as the
concrete lines between the two in the world. It represents the 'plasticity'
of our environment, and the self giving audience images to reconsider
our identities and surroundings through a new perspective.
