My exploration for a new material let me choose disposable foil for its muability, texture, and reflective properties. I also want to contrast its disposability with the permanence of natural images such as trees, flowers, and waves through spatial relationships and oriental lines. In another experimentation with various materials and methods, I reproduced photographs by a photocopier in low degrees of black and white, and used these secondary images on the paintings. These images are not merely reproductions of the original subject, but rather symbols of isolation and emptiness.
