'Myscape' represents the blurred boundary between the human body and the environment. On a night of heavy rain, I filmed the shadows that were cast on my skin by the rain hitting the car window. At that moment the shadows cast on hard skin trickled down my body like the waves beating upon the seashore. Audiences may think that the contents of jars and landscapes, which I made with images of my skin, are something inside of our body or some organic images. These works question the division of the inside and the outside as well as the concrete lines between the two in the world. It represents the 'plasticity' of our environment, and the self giving audience images to reconsider our identities and surroundings through a new perspective.
